Tour Plan
Gather at the designated location in Hailar (it is recommended to choose a 4-star hotel in downtown Hailar for the convenience of early-arriving tourists to rest and refresh). At 08:30, board a regular tourist coach to Manzhouli (driving time: about 3.5 hours). Enjoy the early autumn scenery of Hulunbuir Grassland along the way, with flocks of cattle and sheep dotting the grassland. The tour guide will explain Hulunbuir's geography, culture and itinerary notes during the journey.
First Stop: Morigele River Scenic Area (visit duration: about 1.5 hours)Known as "the Most Curved River Under Heaven", the Morigele River winds through the grassland. You can climb high to overlook the stunning scenery of the river winding like a silver belt around the grassland, and freely take photos of the grassland and the curved river in the same frame. Simple grassland horse riding is available in the scenic area.
Second Stop: Manzhouli National Gate Scenic Area (visit duration: about 1.5 hours)Visit the 5th-generation national gate, overlook the Russian Zabaikalsk Port in the distance, and check in at the "People's Republic of China" boundary marker. Centered on the ancient human culture of "Zhalainuoer Man", grassland civilization, and mining history, the museum’s treasure—the Zhalainuoer Human Skull Fossil—witnesses the ancient history of the grassland. The interactive exhibition area offers simulated archaeology experiences, suitable for families and history enthusiasts.
Afternoon: Hulun Lake Ecological Experience (13:30-17:00)
After lunch, proceed to Hulun Lake (driving time: about 1 hour; visit duration: about 2.5 hours). As Inner Mongolia’s largest lake, Hulun Lake boasts clear waters in early autumn, with the lakeside grassland reflecting beautifully on the water. You can stroll along the lake shore, experience horse riding by the lake, and feel the vastness of this "Pearl of the Grassland".

Morning: Heishantou Grassland Carnival (08:30-12:00)
After breakfast, take a bus to Heishantou Grassland (driving time: about 2 hours; visit duration: about 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, experience the grassland mini-train (ride time: about 30 minutes). The mini-train travels deep into the grassland, stopping at herdsmen’s yurts along the way. You can get off to try milking cows and feeding lambs.
Next, enjoy grassland sand sliding (experience time: about 30 minutes). Slide down the grassy slope to feel the fun of wind and speed. Sand sliding equipment is provided by the scenic area, with professional guidance ensuring high safety.

Afternoon: Russian Family Visit + Leba Manor (13:30-17:30)
First Stop: Russian Family Carnival (experience time: about 60 minutes)Visit a local Russian ethnic family. Put on traditional Russian costumes, learn to make Russian leba (russian bread), taste homemade Russian jam, and dance Russian folk dances with the hosts to immerse yourself in the Russian ethnic life and culture.
Second Stop: Leba Manor (visit duration: about 1 hour)Tour the leba production workshop to learn the entire process of Russian leba from fermentation to baking. The manor features scattered Russian-style buildings. You can taste freshly baked leba with Russian black tea for free and purchase specialty leba as souvenirs.
After the visit, take a bus to Ergun (driving time: about 1 hour).
Morning: Ergun Wetland & Birch Forest (08:30-12:30)
First Stop: Ergun Wetland (visit duration: about 2 hours)Known as "Asia's No.1 Wetland", Ergun Wetland features a unique ecological landscape composed of rivers, swamps, and forests. Take an electric shuttle bus to the viewing platform to overlook the wetland stretching like a green carpet, with the winding Genhe River flowing through it. Afternoon: Enhe Township & Shiwei Border (13:30-18:00)
On the bus ride to Shiwei, pass through Enhe Russian Ethnic Township (stop for about 30 minutes). Enjoy the township scenery from the bus—scattered Russian-style log cabins (wodekeleng) and prominent church spires. You can get off briefly to walk along the main street and experience the quiet charm of this "Top 10 Most Charming Towns in China".
Continue the journey, enjoying the birch forest scenery along the way (driving time: about 1 hour). Upon arrival in Shiwei, first view the exterior of Shiwei Port and Friendship Bridge (stop for about 30 minutes). Overlook the Russian village of Olochi in the distance and learn about the Sino-Russian border petty trade.
Finally, proceed to the Border River Pedestrian Street for free activities (about 1 hour). Stroll along the Ergun River, where there are check-in spots for Sino-Russian boundary markers. You can purchase local handicrafts such as Russian matryoshkas and wolf tooth ornaments.
Morning: Olochi Manor & Moridaga (08:30-12:30)

As a popular saying goes, "There is Xishuangbanna in the south, and Moridaga in the north." Compared with the scenery on the way here, the colors of the leaves in early autumn are more diverse. Morning: Aoluguya Reindeer Tribe (09:00-11:30)
After breakfast, head to the Aoluguya Reindeer Tribe (driving time: about 30 minutes; visit duration: about 2 hours). As the last settlement of China’s reindeer-herding tribe, you can get up close to reindeer (known as "four-not-like" for their unique appearance), experience feeding them. The reindeer are gentle and friendly—you can pet them and take photos, feeling the harmonious coexistence between humans and animals.
Visit the Tribe Museum to learn about the traditional nomadic lifestyle of the Aoluguya Evenki people, who "follow reindeer for a living". Have lunch in the tribe (recommended: Evenki specialty dried meat rice, wild fruit juice). At 12:30, take a bus back to Hailar (driving time: about 3.5 hours). The scenery along the way gradually transitions from forest areas to grasslands. Although the pastures on the early autumn grassland have turned yellow, you can still see flocks of cattle and sheep foraging leisurely.
