After check-in, you may enjoy free time at your leisure. Please take good care of your personal belongings and ensure your personal safety. Kindly keep your mobile phone accessible at all times, and feel free to contact our staff immediately should you have any questions or need assistance.
After breakfast, we will take a coach ride of approximately 2.5 hours to Pingtang FAST (visit duration: around 2.5 hours. Note: The 40 RMB per person fee for the FAST Visual Theater and the 50 RMB per person fee for the scenic area shuttle bus are not included in the tour package and must be paid separately). Here, you will experience firsthand one of China’s top nine science and technology projects—the world’s largest radio telescope. Embark on a tour of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST), then head to the International Astronomical Experience Hall to explore the mysteries of the universe. Listen to the informative commentary and immerse yourself in the hall to “travel 80,000 li a day while staying still” and marvel at the vastness of outer space.Later, we will take a 30-minute coach ride to Sky Bridge. Stand on the viewing platform and overlook the Pingtang Grand Bridge, where its three main towers stand exceptionally magnificent. With a unique diamond-shaped spatial structure, these towering pillars rise majestically among the mountains, presenting a spectacular sight. Currently, 47 out of the world’s top 100 highest bridges are located in Guizhou. These world-class bridges have transformed Guizhou from a “plateau with scarce flat land” into a “plain”, completing a remarkable transition from “a land where no three li are flat” to the “World Museum of Bridges”. They have become the most representative and landmark symbols of Guizhou’s image as “A Mountain Park Province · Colorful Guizhou Scenery”.Afterwards, we will take a 2.5-hour coach ride to Libo and check into our hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we will take a coach to the Seven Small Arches Scenic Area—a 5A-rated attraction, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, and hailed as one of China’s most beautiful destinations. (Visit duration: approximately 3.5 hours. Note: The 40 RMB per person scenic area shuttle bus fee and 10 RMB per person insurance fee are not included in the tour package and must be paid separately. The 30 RMB per person boat tour on Mandarin Duck Lake is an optional extra, not a mandatory expense.) Here, you can visit the time-honored Seven Small Arches Bridge, marvel at the magnificent Laya Waterfall, the elegant 68-Level Cascading Waterfalls, and the Xiangshui River. You will also witness the karst wonder of the Water Forest, where “water flows over the rocks and trees grow out of the stones”. Other highlights include Cuigu Waterfall, Mandarin Duck Lake, and Wolongtan Pool.
Next, we will explore the Seven Large Arches Scenic Area (Visit duration: around 2 hours. Note: The 40 RMB per person boat tour fee is an optional extra, not a mandatory expense.). Stroll along the Meng River to admire the spectacular canyon landscape of Kongbu Gorge and the Natural Bridge, known as the “Oriental Arc de Triomphe”.
After the tour, we will take a 2.5-hour coach ride to Zhaoxing Dong Village, the largest Dong ethnic village in China. Here, you can not only learn about the unique ethnic culture of the Dong people, but also gain insights into their traditional architecture, intangible cultural heritage, and handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy the enchanting night view of Zhaoxing Dong Village, or opt for a paid performance of the Grand Song of the Dong Ethnic Group. Wander through the village after dark and soak up the strong rural charm.
After breakfast, take the scenic area shuttle bus to Tang’an Terraced Fields (Note: A 20 RMB per person fee for the scenic area electric cart transfer is not included in the package and must be paid separately. Along the way, you will feast your eyes on the spectacular, layered terraced fields, where the green ridges frame the contours of the terraces like picture frames. Wisps of cooking smoke curl up from the wooden stilt houses in Tang’an Village, and local farmers walking along the field paths greet you with shy smiles as you pass by.
Tang’an is the world’s only Dong ethnic eco-museum, a joint initiative between China and Norway. Unlike conventional museums, the entire village and its surrounding environment form the museum itself, preserving a truly original ecosystem. After visiting the village, John Gjestvang, the chief expert of the Norwegian Eco-museum, exclaimed in admiration: “Tang’an Dong Village is a paradigm of human beings returning to nature.”
Later, take a 1-hour coach ride to Basha Miao Village, known as the last gunman tribe in the world (Note: A 20 RMB per person fee for the scenic area electric cart transfer is not included in the package and must be paid separately. Visit duration: around 2 hours). Tucked away deep in the forest, the village greets visitors with a salvo of gunfire at the entrance, accompanied by the deep, resonant yet light and melodious sounds of the lusheng (a traditional Miao musical instrument). Witness the unique tradition of shaving hair with a sickle to keep an iconic hairstyle—there is a host of unexpected visual delights waiting for you here.
Afterwards, take a 2-hour coach ride to Danzhai Wanda Town (Visit duration: about 2 hours). Centered on intangible cultural heritage and the cultures of the Miao and Dong ethnic groups, the town integrates commerce, culture, leisure and tourism into one destination. It boasts a number of cultural and tourist attractions, including the Guinness World Record-breaking largest waterwheel in the world, a 3,000-meter lakeside jogging track, a thousand-mu flower field, four themed squares showcasing Miao and Dong cultures, a birdcage post office, boutique inns, local shops, wineries, rice stores, guild halls, bars, and cinemas. In the evening, enjoy the enchanting night view of Danzhai.

As the only one of its kind in China and even the world, this Miao village boasts a spectacular sight of 1,285 wooden stilt houses built tier upon tier along the mountainside. Home to a large concentration of Miao people, it is hailed as the “Capital of Miao Culture”.
Nestled in a river valley surrounded by rolling mountain ranges, the village is split into two parts by a meandering river. Layer upon layer of stilted wooden houses stretch upwards along the slopes on both sides of the river, their red wooden walls forming an unbroken, magnificent stretch.
Later, we will take a 2-hour coach ride to Zhenyuan and visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town (Visit duration: around 1 hour. Note: The 20 RMB per person scenic area shuttle bus fee is not included in the tour package and must be paid separately). Known as a “traditional cultural maze” composed entirely of historical sites and a “perfect blend of nature and culture”, the town allows you to savor the coexisting religious cultures of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, and appreciate the timeless philosophy of moderation and harmony. In the evening, enjoy the stunning night view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town.

After the visit, proceed to the Chishui Grand Waterfall Scenic Area to admire the magnificent 4A - level national scenic spot and China's largest Danxia waterfall, Chishui Grand Waterfall (transfer to the scenic area shuttle bus at 20 RMB per person; this fee is not included in the tour package. The park is divided into three sections: the Yezhuping Sightseeing & Leisure Zone, the Tianluogu Valley Hiking & Exploration Zone, and the Mentouxiyan Shengnü Waterfall Scenic Zone. Currently, only the Yezhuping Sightseeing & Leisure Zone is open to the public. It is a scenic spot integrating bamboo sea landscapes, Danxia landforms such as Xiaoyan Rock, Tianluo (Heavenly Gong), Digu (Earthly Drum) and Tianxinqiao Narrow Ridge, as well as waterfalls including Shengnü Waterfall. The park is home to more than 40 bamboo species belonging to 12 genera, plus 2 bamboo varieties, with moso bamboo accounting for the largest area.
Subsequently, we will take a 2.5-hour coach ride to Maotai Town to visit the Site of the Four Crossings of the Chishui River Memorial Park. In March 1935, the main force of the Central Red Army crossed the Chishui River four times, laying the foundation for the victory of the Long March. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, the "Four Crossings of the Chishui River Memorial Tower" was built in 1995. The main attractions of the memorial park include the Four Crossings of the Chishui River Memorial Tower, Huaihong Pavilion and the Maotai Ferry Monument. Standing on Zhushabao in Maotai Town, the sailboat-shaped memorial tower covers an area of 3,333 square meters (5 mu) and was constructed in 1995. It recreates the intense scenes of the Red Army's flexible maneuvers and four crossings of the Chishui River in 1935.Afterwards, we will take a 30-minute coach ride to check into our hotel.
After breakfast, we will take a 3-hour coach ride to Zhijin Cave Scenic Area—a National Geopark, Natural Heritage Site, the top-ranked tourist cave in China, and a 5A-level scenic spot (Note: A 20 RMB per person fee for the scenic area shuttle bus transfer and a 10 RMB per person insurance fee are not included in the tour package and must be paid separately; visit duration: approximately 3 hours). Hailed as the "No.1 Cave Under Heaven" , the cave is adorned with more than 40 types of deposits, including stalagmites, stone pillars, stone towers, stone flowers, stone buds, helictites, cloud discs, plum blossom fields, pearl fields, and rimstone dams, forming a diverse array of karst landscapes . The cave passages crisscross, with stone peaks scattered everywhere, while flowing water, intermittent ponds, and underground lakes are interspersed throughout. Tall stone curtains and drapes hang down like they are descending from the sky, boasting a variety of colors. The underground misty river shrouds in ethereal mist, appearing deep and unfathomable. It is praised as a "Karst Treasure" and a "Cave Wonder".
During the tour, you will admire attractions such as "Snow-Covered Green Pines", wander through the "Spiritual Palace", and gaze at the 17-meter-high "Bawang Kui (Overlord's Helmet)" and the equally 17-meter-tall "Silver Rain Tree"—two of the cave's most renowned treasures. These wonders will let you personally experience the true meaning of "a palace in heaven and a fairyland on earth". In 1988, Hu Jintao, then Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, hailed Zhijin Cave as such, a praise that has since attracted many Party and state leaders to visit the cave . The scenic area has also successfully hosted several international cave summit forums. As a poem inscribed here goes: "After returning from Huangshan, one needs not look at other mountains; beyond Zhijin Cave, there are no other extraordinary caves."At the end of the tour, we will take a 4-hour coach ride to Xingyi and check into our hotel.
After breakfast, we will take a 1-hour coach ride to Wanfeng Lake Scenic Area (Note: An 80 RMB per person fee for the scenic area cruise boat transfer is not included in the tour package and must be paid separately). Upon arrival, we will board the boat to explore this grand lake on the Guizhou Plateau. Wanfeng Lake is a man-made lake formed by water storage after the completion of the Tianshengqiao High Dam Hydropower Station—a key national hydropower project. Shrouded in mist, the lake shimmers beautifully under sunlight. Over a thousand mountain peaks within the lake form as many islets and peninsulas, presenting an enchanting view. It ranks among China’s top five freshwater lakes. The lake gets its name from being surrounded by ten thousand peaks. It stores 10.2 billion cubic meters of water and covers a water surface area of 816 square kilometers, winding through the three provinces/autonomous regions of Guizhou, Guangxi, and Yunnan. Along its shores lie ethnic mountain villages with unique dwellings, fascinating customs, as well as the costumes, headwear, and charming love ballads of the young girls from ethnic minorities—all of which make it well worth a visit.
Later, we will take a 1-hour coach ride to Wanfenglin Scenic Area (Note: A 50 RMB per person fee for the scenic area shuttle bus transfer and a 50 RMB per person fee for the sightseeing train are not included in the tour package and must be paid separately; visit duration: approximately 2.5 hours). After that, we will take a 40-minute coach ride to Maling River Grand Canyon (visit duration: approximately 2 hours; Note: A 40 RMB per person round-trip fee for the scenic area elevator is an optional expense and not mandatory). Ancient and famous trees dot both banks of the canyon, displaying various charming forms. Walking along the trail at the bottom of the canyon feels like wandering in a painting.

After breakfast, we will take a 1.5-hour coach ride to visit Twenty-Four Turns Scenic Area (A 50 RMB per person fee for the scenic area shuttle bus is not included in the tour package and must be paid separately; visit duration: approximately 1.5 hours). Towering and precipitous, the Twenty-Four Turns is a signature section of the renowned Stilwell Road. You can also take the Huangguoshu Escalator—the longest of its kind in Asia—to ease the fatigue of your journey.
Then, visit Doupotang Waterfall, the widest waterfall in the scenic area (visit duration: around 30 minutes). After the tour, take a 30-minute coach ride to Anshun and check into your hotel.
After breakfast, we will take a 2-hour coach ride to visit Qingyan Ancient Town—a filming location for the movie Lost on the Way, a well-preserved ancient town dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, and one of the four most famous ancient towns in Guiyang. (Note: A combined fee of 25 RMB per person for the scenic area shuttle bus and insurance is not included in the tour package and must be paid separately; visit duration: no less than 2 hours).
The town’s architecture is built in harmony with the mountainous terrain. Crisscrossing flagstone paths and winding, narrow alleys stretch in all directions. On both sides stand old stone and wooden counters; delicate carvings adorn the window and door lattices; and inverted stone lions perch atop the memorial archways—every detail stirs up nostalgic thoughts for the old days. Wander around to soak up the strong, simple and laid-back vibe of the traditional rural life here. After the tour, we will head to the railway station and conclude this pleasant journey!
