Depart from Chengdu early in the morning and head west along Provincial Highway 434. Admire the stunning view of Honghaizi Lake, where clear water, snow-capped mountains and prayer flags complement each other. Continue to the 360° viewing platform at Yuzhixi, and wait for the breathtaking “Golden Peak” sunrise over Gongga and Yala Snow Mountains.
Arrive in Xinduqiao, the “Paradise for Photographers”, in the evening. Check into a Tibetan-style homestay, rest under the starry plateau sky and recharge for the following journey.

Depart from Xinduqiao and head to the viewing platform of Heavenly Road 18 Bends, where you can overlook the spectacular scenery of the winding road snaking through the mountains and capture stunning photos of the plateau highway.
Then drive to Letong Ancient Town, visit the “City in the Sky” stone tablet, stroll through the Tibetan-style streets, and experience the rich cultural atmosphere of Tibet.
Continue to Haizi Mountain, explore the ancient ice cap remains, and admire the unique landscape with thousands of plateau lakes scattered across the wilderness.
After the visit, head west and arrive at Shangri‑La Town in the evening. Check in and rest well to prepare for the hiking trip in Daocheng Yading the next day.

After breakfast, depart from Shangri-La Town and drive a short distance to reach Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. Take the scenic bus to the core area, hike to Chonggu Temple to admire the majestic Xiannairi Holy Mountain, then head to Luorong Pasture for views of Xianuoduoji and Yangmaiyong peaks side by side.
For those with good stamina, challenge the hike to the crystal-clear Milk Sea and Five-Color Lake, and immerse yourself in the purity of these sacred plateau lakes. Return in the afternoon and drive to Daocheng County in the evening to check in and recover from the day’s hike.

Depart from Daocheng County and head west to Tagong Grassland. Overlook Yala Snow Mountain, known as the "Oriental White Yak". Cattle and sheep roam the grassland, and the golden roof of Tagong Temple stands against the sacred mountain, showing the vastness of Tibetan scenery.
Then visit Moshi Park, a unique black stone forest like an alien planet. Explore Zanggou Valley and the exotic plank roads, perfect for stylish photos.
In the evening, arrive at Danba, the "Country of Thousands of Towers". Check into a Tibetan village house built on the hillside, taste local delicacies such as butter tea and yak meat, and rest quietly.

Depart from Danba early in the morning and head east to Shuangqiao Valley of Siguniang Mountain. Take the scenic bus through snow-capped mountains and forests, visit spectacular spots such as Wuse Mountain and Lieren Peak, and stroll on the grasslands, accompanied by streams and yaks, immersing yourself in the beauty of western Sichuan’s hidden land.
After the tour, drive to Dujiangyan and arrive in this ancient city in the evening. Check in and then visit Nanqiao Bridge at night, enjoying the bright lights reflecting on the Minjiang River. Taste local snacks like rabbit heads and onion rolls to relax and recharge for the following journey.

Depart from Dujiangyan in the morning and travel north along the Minjiang River canyon. Arrive at Diexi Haizi at noon, a barrier lake formed by the 1933 earthquake. Admire its clear plateau water and take photos by the sacred white yak totem.
Then drive to Songpan Ancient Town, walk along the ancient city walls of the Tang Dynasty, explore the relics of the Ancient Tea-Horse Road and the historical marks of Princess Wencheng’s journey to Tibet.
After visiting the ancient town, head west to Jiuzhaigou. Check in, enjoy distinctive Tibetan cuisine, and rest well for the next day’s Jiuzhaigou tour.

Enter Jiuzhaigou early in the morning when the park opens. Take the scenic bus directly to Rize Valley to visit Bamboo Arrow Lake and Five-Flower Lake. Bathed in morning light, the lake shimmers in shades of blue and green like a scattered palette.
Have a break and lunch at Nuorilang Tourist Center at noon. In the afternoon, head to Zechawagou Valley to visit Changhai Lake, the highest lake in Jiuzhaigou, and admire the brilliant colors of Five-Color Pond in the sun.
Finally, walk through Shuzheng Valley to experience the magnificence of Nuorilang Waterfall and the tranquility of Shuzheng Lakes. Leave the valley in the evening and return to your accommodation, reminiscing over the stunning scenery of Jiuzhaigou, the “fairyland on earth”.

After breakfast, depart from Jiuzhaigou and drive to Huanglong Scenic Area. Take the uphill cable car to the top and hike among the travertine terraces. Visit the Five-Color Pond, known as the "Jade Pool on Earth", where the water shimmers with brilliant colors in the sunlight.
After the visit, drive to Chuanzhusi Town for a short rest and refreshment, then head back to Chengdu. Enjoy the continuous scenery of the Minshan Mountains along the way. Arrive in Chengdu in the evening, completing this wonderful journey through the western Sichuan plateau and the secret lands of Minshan.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport according to your departure schedule, marking the end of your Western Sichuan tour.
